Pavement Maintenance Services was incorporated in 2003 with our primary focus on small paving projects and pavement maintenance, including crack seal, seal coat and patching.

Co-owner Chuck Murphy began in the industry shortly after college working for a large civil contractor as a plant engineer, overseeing crushing, concrete and asphalt production. Later he was a project engineer and manager on heavy civil projects. Chuck has 38 years of construction experience and supervises all of the work performed by PMS.

Co-owner Christy Murphy has a background as a legal secretary and typesetter. When the company first started, she was the roller operator. Christy now is the office manager, along with our daughter, Jenna Van Dyke.

PMS has grown into a grading, paving and pavement maintenance company, doing projects from patching to driveways to streets and to highways. We also provide asphalt milling.

PMS handles large commercial and industrial projects, as well as working for many municipalities, counties and state entities.

PMS is located in Salida, Colorado, centrally located and able to reach small and large projects all over the State of Colorado.

We also run a construction materials recycle yard, recycling concrete, asphalt and excavated materials. We produce class 6 road base, screened topsoil, 3" minus structural fill and recycled asphalt.



We accept broken concrete, asphalt and excavated materials as a service to the local construction industry. This keeps all these construction waste products out of our landfills.
